Lori Monroy is a graduate of California State University, Northridge with a BA in Graphic Design. While at CSUN, she was a member of SAGA, a student organization which gives its members a sense of community and offers jobs to help indiviiduals gain real world experience. She is currently working on her Masters at Pepperdine. Mrs. Monroy had previously worked for LAUSD eight years as a playground supervisor and the Arts and Crafts director for the entire San Fernando Valley Youth Services summer program. She moved on to work for a Graphic Design and Printing firm in Chatsworth for 3 years where she designed stationary packages, logos, and brochures for large and small companies. Currently Mrs. Monroy teaches compuer Graphic Design, and is a member of the launch team for the Academy of Art and Technology. She is also involved in various activities on campus such as C0/Advistor for the class of 2006. Mrs Monroy believes that arts education is a vital part of any student's learning.
