The Abortion pill was introduced in 1980, and helped women who had no option with child care. The worlds first portable computer revolutionized the way a businessman could do his business were he needed to.             With the invention of the personal computer came the invention of the computer virus. Created in 1982 the world's first computer virus was called the "Elk Cloner virus" and was originally made to corrupt a video game. The inventor of the virus was Rich Skrenta, a 9 th grader who used it as a practical joke to mess with his friends. The program was for the apple 2 computer. Many years' later viruses have changed and now virus protection is a multi billion-dollar industry worldwide. The first virus protection program was built in 1989 and was for the Macintosh.

With the invention of many great things came the inventions that make life a little easier.
